MEET THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE CARS
Sarah Symcox is Business Sales Operations Manager at Volvo Car UK. She oversees a team of ten Regional Business Managers, who keep fleet decision makers informed about Volvo.
I started my Volvo career as a Fleet Sales Executive in a dealership over 20 years ago, selling to multinationals and leasing companies. I must admit I became a convert to the brand straightaway. After those early days, I expanded my horizons working for a national contract hire company, coming back to Volvo to take a position with Volvo Car Finance.
Over the years, I’ve worked as Special Vehicles Manager and Strategic Partnerships Manager, two very rewarding roles that have allowed me to develop many business areas. I’m now delighted to have moved back to core business sales as Business Sales Operations Manager. I’m responsible for supporting a team of ten Regional Business Managers as they engage with fleet decision makers to position the Volvo brand effectively within their company car policy.
An exciting time
Having been close to the Volvo brand for many years, I have seen many changes and now is a very exciting time, with a future model line that will constantly give us new reasons to talk to customers. I am thrilled to be part of a brand which creates such loyalty and passion.
