Ty SAVILLE - Somfy North America is pleased to announce the addition of Ty SAVILLE to Project Business team. Ty started his career as an Engineer with Bosch and later Birdon Marine, both in Australia. He then move to London to join Somfy as a Commissioning Engineer and has spent the last 8 years working for Somfy UK as the Commercial Building Solutions Manager. In his new role with Somfy North America, he will manage the Project Business market and lead the team to further build the Somfy footprint in the North American commercial sector focused on project business activities.

Marouane HARAKA - Somfy NL is pleased to present Marouane HARAKA as a new addition to the Projects sales team in the role of Project Specialist Animeo IP/IO. Marouane has 15 years of experience in building automation and has worked as sales manager for multinational companies such as Siemens and Isolectra. Marouane will support the Dutch sales team located in Hoofddorp.

Christiaan DE WIND - In January 2015 Christiaan DE WIND joined Somfy NL as Project Advisor. Christiaan is a most welcome addition to the team as he brings a wealth of experience from various consulting and sales development assignments from multinational companies. He most recently joins us from Honeywell where he had the role of consultant focused on developing solutions for health care. Christiaan will support the Dutch sales team located in Hoofddorp, and focus especially on growing our business in the health care segment.

Karl KESSLER - In January 2015 Somfy NEBA hired Karl KESSLER in the role of Channel Marketing Manager and Product Manager Projects. He joins us from ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, where he primarily worked with business development projects, M&A, and competitive intelligence. He also has experience from project management and internal consulting within the medical devices industry. Karl will be positioned in Malmö, Sweden, but supporting the NEBA region.

Anders HOLMANDER - In December 2014 Anders HOLMANDER joined Somfy SE as the new Channel Manager Projects, taking over after Anders Hall who has taken on a new assignment within the BCBG. Anders will be positioned in Malmö, and from there lead the Swedish Projects team. He has vast experience from the electrical industry with 30 years in various managerial roles in sales and building automation. In his free time Anders enjoys to golf, hunt and sailing.

Fredrik BACKMAN - Somfy Sweden are pleased to announce that Fredrik BACKMAN has joined us in the role of Sales Projects. Fredrik began his career as an electrician some twenty years ago, and has since worked both as a service technician, and sales representative. He joins us from the electrical wholesales Solar Sverige AB where he worked in sales. Fredrik is based in Stockholm where he lives with his family.

Koushik KANNAN - Koushik KANNAN has joined the Somfy Oceania Commercial team as the Projects and Contracts Manager, in line with our focus to deliver on large commercial projects. Koushik is currently responsible for the project management of our largest and flagship closed cavity blind project - including 3,000 J4 motors and 800 KNX moco’s, at 200 George Street in Sydney, the first of its kind in Oceania. Koushik’s responsibilities also include looking after contracts and providing technical solutions to support the growing commercial business in Oceania.

Waldemar NIEDZIELA - From January 2015 Waldemar NIEDZIELA is responsible for Building solutions in Poland. He started with Somfy Poland in 2007, had worked as sales manager for Home & Building in South Poland and has now changed to the project business field.

Julian CYPRIEN - Somfy UK is pleased to present Julian CYPRIEN as a new addition to the Projects sales team in the role of Business Development Manager Northern Region. Julian has a strong background in technical sales, and joins us from Nuaire Group, where he had the role of Senior Technical Sales Manager. Julian will together with James White be reporting to Daren Whistler who is managing the UK Project team.

Mark ADLER - Mark Adler joins Somfy UK’s Project team in the role of Project Manager from Adler Electrics where he was managing a leading London blind controls installation company. He will be responsible for developing the UK service business. Mark has vast knowledge of electrical systems within large commercial projects which will be key in winning future business.

James WHITE - Somfy UK is pleased to announce the addition of James WHITE to the Projects team who will take the role of Business Development Manager Southern Region. James has a technical sales background and joins us from WindowMaster, where he worked as a key account manager. He also has experience supporting M&E Consultants and architects with technical specifications.

Jamie CHAE - We would like to introduce new staff for marketing communication and publication in Somfy Korea whose name is Jamie CHAE. She is a successor of Sera Jung who moved to Specification team. Jamie will be in charge of publication, news release, home page and SNS control, exhibition, design support to customers, and other PR and marketing promotion related works.

Yuriy ZABEGIN - Yuriy ZABEGIN started to work with Somfy Russia at the position of CBS and projects development manager in LLC Somfy (CIS). He has a very strong automation experience and background. He graduated from Moscow Aviation University and has a degree in Electronics. He also has several certificates from BACS, Crestron, Legrand, Philips and RTI. Since his graduation from the University Yuriy has been working in automation business and has more than nine automation KNX and Bticino live projects in his portfolio.
