Porsche comes to life in Kent
Porsche is literally coming to life this winter, with the opening of 'Porsche Life' in the 154,000 square-metre Bluewater shopping centre in Greenhithe, Kent.
Designed as a relaxing and informal environment, key elements of what makes a Porsche a Porsche are available for visitors to interact with inside the ‘Pop Up Experience’. This includes an exploration of the ‘Sound of Porsche’, gesture control screens that open up the world of Porsche, and various opportunities to get closer to the unique character of the company and its cars.
Porsche is all about sports cars; and Porsche Life does not disappoint. On hand for close inspection is the new Panamera Turbo Sport Tourismo, a completely new Porsche born from a combination of avant-garde design and 4+1 seating.
'Porsche Life' wouldn't be complete without the iconic 911. The 911 Carrera 4 GTS British Legends Edition, a special model with limited availability that recognises home success at Le Mans, completes the line up.
Nick Tandy, a Le Mans winner in 2015, is the official 'Porsche Life' ambassador, balancing his global motorsport commitments with supporting various activities around the Pop Up experience.
“My work takes me all over the world racing for Porsche, so naturally I am proud to support Porsche Cars GB as it takes the brand ‘on the road’ in my home country,” commented Nick.
Ragnar Schulte, General Manager, Marketing, Porsche Cars GB, added: “Porsche Life offers every visitor the opportunity to explore first-hand the stories and legends that underpin the Porsche brand"
